Developer Re-Logic has announced that its Terraria series has now passed 20 million copies sold.

This milestone was achieved at the end of 2016, the studio said in a forum post on its website (via Polygon). The $20 2D sandbox game originally launched in May 2011 for PC, before coming to mobile devices and consoles later through a partnership with publisher 505 Games.

“We owe so much of that to the amazingly strong and loyal support of each member of our community,” Re-Logic said. “To say that we are ecstatic about how our little game has grown–in content, in quality, and in success–is putting it mildly!”

Re-Logic teased that the Terraria franchise has “so much life left in it.”

“We cannot wait to share those plans with you in the months and years to come,” the developer said.

Re-Logic shared some other stats that explain how much Terraria has grown over the years. At launch, there were around 250 items; now, there are about 3,800. There were 6 NPCs at launch and 25 now. Three bosses at launch in 2011 and 16 now. Check out more stats here on Re-Logic’s website.
